Where is a good place for a 53 year old male to find work in Los Angeles.?
Moved to L.A. recently had to have bypass surgery. I am recovered and need to work. Any Ideas?

Umemployment Office would be a good choice.

San Jose this is around 600km from Los angels. But people are travelling for empolyment everyday.

Is your heart better now? You should call the EDD Office and see how you can get registered in there data bank for work....Lots in it!

Even though there may be some good job offerings listed on craigslist.com, your age does not bode you well unless you can dress, act and look much older than your age. And that's the main reason why so many "young looking" job applicants are not hired, because of the way they "look" and "act." "Youthfulness" in your case may prove to be the singular reason for your rejection by employers. Good luck!
